Cadet 1st Class Angie Maravi Campos

Cadet First Class Angie Maravi Campos holds multiple leadership roles at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She serves as the Cadet Wing Diversity and Inclusion Officer, representing various organizations including the USAF Academy's Hispanic Heritage Club, Secular Cadet Alliance, Spectrum, and Drone Racing Team. Additionally, she holds the position of Vice-President in the RATTEX Club.

In her role as the Wing Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Cadet Maravi Campos plays a vital role in developing and implementing the D&I curriculum at USAFA. Her efforts focus on facilitating critical conversations and fostering the growth of inclusive leaders within the academy. As an Aeronautical Engineering major with a minor in French, Cadet Maravi Campos is engaged in research related to designing a driver insert for the USAFA Shock Tube. Her objective is to mitigate the pressure increase caused by an induced shock wave, showcasing her dedication to academic pursuits and innovative problem-solving.

Cadet Maravi Campos's journey began in Lima, Peru, where she was born and raised. On October 25, 2015, she came to the United States and commenced her studies at Irving High School. She graduated third in a class of 1000 with a perfect GPA of 4.0 and GPA of 4.0, she exhibited exceptional academic prowess. Her accomplishments led her to be elected as a cadet at the Air Force Academy Class of 2024 during her senior year of high school. Cadet First Class Angie Maravi Campos exemplifies leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Her multifaceted contributions and achievements make her a role model for her peers and an asset to the academy community.
